AUSTRALIA STREET CLEANERS must be designated Power-Sweeper Operator
Power-Sweeper Operators are tasked with sweeping streets and public areas with vehicles that have rotating brushes. They clear sand and litter from freshly constructed highways. To be eligible to apply for this job, you must be at least 18 years of age and under 48 years of age. You should also be physically fit and have good mental and communication skills.
Street sweeper operators must have training and knowledge of the functions of the machine. This training includes pre-start checks, general maintenance, and safety considerations. Operators should also understand the design and layout of the machine, and the vehicle’s warning devices. They also must know how to drive the machine on a left-hand street.
